What I do
- AI reality checks. Cutting through the hype to find where AI actually moves the needle for your business — and protecting data privacy and IP while you do it. I run AI agents in production myself; the advice comes from operating the technology, not reading about it.
- Architecture strategy. Spotting the "small" decisions that become "large" technical debt. I've watched this movie enough times to recognize the pattern early — and to know which corners are safe to cut.
- Executive advisory. Build-vs-buy, vendor selection, team structure — the decisions where thirty years of context on what works and what doesn't is worth more than another meeting.
- Initiative design and delivery. Turning a strategic bet into an executable plan — target architecture, sequencing, team shape — and staying engaged with the program team through delivery, not just the kickoff deck.
How I work
Fractional means senior attention without the full-time cost: a standing engagement, not a one-off report. Half the work is advisory — with leadership on strategy, with program teams on delivery. The other half is hands-on: I can code-review a Python data application in the morning and present AI strategy to your Board in the afternoon. Based in Los Angeles, working remotely. CISSP.
